Ellen Osborne has lived in Sheffield all her life and as well as drama, films and music, she enjoys rock climbing and the Peak District. She believes literature and the arts in general should provoke reflection on the world and how we live. Her writing emerges from an interest in what motivates us to do what we do, particularly when we are moved beyond logic by emotion, often into bizarre situations.

Ellen plans to study Classics at University and update ancient myths in contemporary short stories.
