The Overexposed

A track from Mark Gwynne Jones and The Psychicbread’s new album Lyric in Limestone. All tracks on the album were recorded live on location at several spots across the Peak District. The Overexposed reflects on a B29 bomber that crashed in the high peak. This track was recorded in one take on Bleaklow one warm April day. Lyric in Limestone was commissioned by Glassball Art Projects.

A playful satire which follows the fortunes of Pogo, an imaginary friend who is manifested in the brain of his current client as a little fat boy in a sailor suit, an image that troubles him greatly. Pogo spends his downtime hanging out with the Saints and Psychos, and when St Nicholas has a run-in with the The Boss at the busy Christmas period, The Boss offers Pogo temptation.
