Nell Farrell

Summary

Nell Farrell was born in Eastwood, something she shares with D.H. Lawrence. She now lives in Sheffield where she earns her living in social work education and as a creative writing tutor. Her story ‘My Mother Dreams of Lovelave Watkins’ features in Some Girls’ Mothers. Her poems have appeared in many poetry journals and her short collection The Wrong Evangeline was published by Panshine Press in 2003. She was recently a runner-up in the Mslexia Poetry Competition and has been awarded Second Prize in the 2008 Yorkshire Open Poetry Competition.
