CP Lee

CP Lee (1950-2020) was a beloved son of Manchester, musician, presenter, comedian, author, cultural historian and a whole lot more. He was 16 when he went to see Bob Dylan and The Hawks at the Free Trade Hall. He was so overwhelmed that he went on to form the 1970s rock iconoclasts Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias. He became an unlikely academic in the 1980s, gaining a doctorate in popular music.
