This was only the second time Andy Roberts and Iain Matthews had played live together. The first was just three days previously at the Reading Festival. These shows were considered ‘warm-up’ shows for a forthcoming US tour, where Andy and Iain were joined by Richard Thompson on guitar and dulcimer; and their driver, Bobby Ronga, stepped in voluntarily on bass.
